Donna Micucci Horn is an Atlanta-based artist.     She paints abstracts and  also landscapes that edge into abstraction to a varying degree.   Creating inventive color palettes using oil often thickened with cold wax medium, the artist balances shape and line in her compositions.  By editing these images through a process of layering and scraping, in multiple iterations, she infuses the work with meaning and emotion for the viewer to uncover.
